A while back I read about a study was done on the fans of soccer team of Italy. During the match with France, people were tested for their testosterone level before the match and then when the Italian team scored the rise was noticeable, yet when France scored the hormones level dropped.
This was not in the team mates, interestingly these were the regular fans, how can a sport match have a powerful effect on us human beings. This brings an other example to mind, a documentary about the wolves mentioned that when the pups were born the protection hormones showed up not only in the father and mother, this surge was present in the whole pack. Powerful and strange stuff yet fact. Shouldn’t we know a little more about ourselves.
As creatures this nature is present everywhere yet we don’t look at it critically to understand our own behavioral attitudes. I am going to dig into this and connect this knowledge to attempt trying to understand evolution related issues, because these hormones production and fluctuations had not happened in some archaic times, these are today’s phenomenon as well.
Wolf pups related hormone production is understandable, but as humans we should have known about our emotions and their causes by now. I feel like a kid, whom is asking over and over, are we there yet, are we there yet and what don’t we know about ourselves yet.
In western nations we take the children away from some one who is acting out emotionally or under the influences of the hormones. Most if not all justice systems are based on the controlling of emotions. Are we evolving too fast that we can’t create balance and match with our evolving social rules and out of control emotions, while we are going through the changes. Its loud and clear fact of being a human being that, if we are forced, we adopt to changes, so it is time to learn about the realities of our hormones, their connections to our behavior, so we can understand the ramifications of our actions. You can’t just hide behind the emotions regardless of their powerful nature. We need to understand how important, it is to evolve and change gradually, but acknowledging it is the first step.
I heard a sermon as growing up boy, by Molaana Ajmal in Pakistan. He said and I “quote”
If I give you a piece of paper and ask you to put your finger through but don’t rip the paper, what would you do? Then he explained that if you take a pin and start to make serval holes in the paper then it will allow you to put your finger through with getting ripped. It was all about the human knowledge if you give too much too soon you not only don’t understand you can get confused about it as well”. “End Quote”
There is certain rhythm to adaptation of the knowledge and everyone can have their unique and individual and collective rhythm. Sometimes, someone can give or bring a knowledge to light which is not understood by the mass, it can be taken wrongly.
Our grade system in schools is a great example, knowledge of any kind should be given gradually because knowledge is no knowledge if it is not understood. Just like the muscles are built with the study stress, not at once with extremely heavy weights, it is all about the speed of adaptation. If one can not understand he/she might need some time and explanation. Religious knowledge is based on, no base at all, so if you dig into it, to find a solid ground, you may end up losing your faith. It is not that God may not exist but, it is the ability to understand may not be there. If the understanding is not there believing in extreme would be ignorance, if you start to kill some one, who does not believe or disputes with your views. Killing some one over your knowledge, which is not complete, it is like giving a death penalty and finding out later that the person is proven innocent by the DNA proof, killing an innocent is a spiritual crime, which are dirt cheep these days from both sides. Drug companies get their drugs approved and they claim that these drugs are scientifically proven yet people die all the time from drugs. Religious people throw bombs or blow themselves up in the name of God they don’t know. For instance it is a know fact that we are not using our potential brain power. If you personally doubt, just look around, in every department we are evolving with our brain power and we are still learning, that means we have a lot more room to grow or evolve.
I will start by asking you to ask yourself, deep in the dead of the night, how much of a wolf are you? And how much of an evolved human being are you? This personal question can be answered by the individual him/herself individually. If you feel you are influenced by the sense of belonging to your belonging community, you are not going to be honest even with yourself.
Overcoming sense of belonging takes an individual to become a CEO, so if you don’t believe that you are a CEO of your life, become one first, before claiming that you are an individual whom is above and beyond the boundaries of your belonging groups.
I want to clear one thing here, and that is, as a human being we are not completely evolved yet, regardless of our progress in all departments of life and yes including the religious knowledge, so claiming that you are a perfect and evolved human being, would be under the social influences of the politics of your belonging groups.
Unfortunately we are at the stage where we still have to protect ourselves, our families, our belonging communities, nations and our religious beliefs from our own kind, because of the differences. Some want to change everything and some don’t want to change at all. The level of our civilization is not there yet, where we can learn to live with each other regardless of differences or the level of civilization.
We may or may not get there, depends on the usage of our weaponry, we may bring the chaos to ourselves before we reach our potential or we may simply evolve and recognize and understand the emotional beast within before we destroy ourselves.
Sure each situation is unique but our politics of sense of belonging is a powerful phenomenon, so we as an individual will have to evolve to the point that we each can become a CEO of our lives, who can understand that it is the balance between sense of belonging and sense of freedom, not one or the other.
Would that be chaotic, may be, but don’t we already have a chaos, the conservatives and whomever believes in the authoritarian systems would not be willing to give the CEO powers to an individual, especially the religious politics would never believe that God can’t exist without the human being.
Personally I believe, if you only follow what you have learned from ancestors or from the books of the past, you will end up just following the knowledge passed down.
The innovations and creations are not bound to any previous knowledge, they may stem from it, but forging forward needs forward thinking individuals. Creations of the new innovations take the out of bound individuals to question the previous knowledge to improve it. From computing and internet to medicine to religious knowledge they all should be subjected to evolve so they can meet the needs of humanity at all levels and as they are needed. For instance humanity needs spirituality, over and above the politics of the sense of belonging to any group, nation and yes even the religions.
If you have bought into, or are sold as an individual to your belonging group’s political knowledge, it is your choice, but if you can’t individually come out of those boundaries and talk like a CEO of your life, you are still using your free will to stay in the boundaries. As a CEO of your life, you owe it to yourself to know why you are, the way you are?
Always remember that potentially you are created by God whether you believe in God or not, either way you are above and beyond of any kind of data you are installed in. You use your free will to make choices thus you are a CEO created or not. If you can’t even come out of your boundaries, whether they are created for you by you, or are created for you, you are undermining your individual potential thus not following your real order of God which is to evolve continuously.
Look around to see the examples of human evolution, we can detect, predict and track weather storms and other natural disasters. If it was not up to the individuals whom thought out side of the boundaries, we would still be throwing virgins over the cliffs to please God.
God and religious beliefs are still part of our lives, but we have all kind of progress to show that human beings are not to be contained in the boundaries. It is mind boggling to me that this day and age a regular individual can be radicalized to become extremist in both sides of the spectrum. To me the foundational problems are always related with the basic issues. Prejudice, whether its race, nationalism or religion related, we end up with the politics of sense of belonging to the belonging groups.
If all groups teach and preach the same thing to create prejudice, then human individual will never learn to belong to humanity as a whole.
We all will always be Muslim, Christian, black, white, Pakistani, Canadian before being a human being.
The reality is, that we all are human beings before the installed or assumed identities. If you look at the scientific breakdown it would end up, taking you to the level of carbon, yes we all are made of the same material. If you evolve a little further you will find the genetically different creatures, and then you can see the intelligence separation. This is where human beings should pull ahead but personally I am having trouble to call human beings as the superior specimen of nature, because of our lack of understanding and sense of belonging related prejudice.
By looking at the intermingling and reproducing of perfect human beings regardless of the backgrounds is a proof enough for me to believe that we are genetically matched. We can donate blood and organs to each other and save lives or reproduce the whole and a perfect human beings, so where do the differences come from. If it is not the carbon nor the genetics, it has to be the data. This data needs to be overhauled and re-evaluated by all human groups and individuals simultaneously, because you can down load it, but you can never become a data.
Your religious knowledge, nationalism, racism, traditional clothing, religious symbols and cultural traditions are one hundred percent data and you are an entity above and beyond the installed data. If you are taught to believe otherwise you are sold something to discredit your real identity and if you have bought into it, you yourself need to re-evaluate yourself.
If you strip down everything one thing at a time and dig deeper than the given or assumed identity, you will find a naked human being with a (Fiver). (read five bucks). The nature is powerful, so you as an individual hold the key, you are the computer runner. You are even above the computer itself, never mind the data, so find yourself under all the layers of cultural traditions and take charge to become who you really are. Dig for your potential you will make God proud of his creation, otherwise you will stay stuck in the politics of the sense of belonging and keep committing spiritual crimes with the false sense of pleasing God.
A black person is black regardless of his/her belief system. You can find white Muslims, black Jews, brown Christians, olive Hindus or whatever kind of human being believing in whatever. Now take a step further, a human being can be any and all color, but what makes them different is the education of the differences.
These differences are founded on the sense of belonging related fears of love loss, power and security, thus its all, and one hundred percent political. For instance you don’t want a member of your belonging group to stray and join the others, or especially the opposing groups because it may weakened your belonging group. Now it is not only political power, it is related with the security as well. The trouble is that our upbringing and experiences related to growing up teach us to belong to our belonging groups, regardless of the abuse we face within our belonging groups. We still think, in life that is the way it is, yet it does not has to be.
The difference of opinion in people is as common as the people itself, but the bigger problem is that when people, as society, parent, teachers nation or religion enforce their views as the good and factual knowledge. We use politics of God, heaven and hell to control and mold our off springs into just like us regardless of us being wrong. Belonging to one group of people is spiritually wrong, you have to let the body of humanity or God to function as a whole. If you believe your holy knowledge is preaching for one particular group of people but not for the humanity as a whole it is not holy it is whole political.
Imagine if no one is killing each other, how far the humanity would be today. Human knowledge is like a light switch when it comes on, it is lightening fast or instant. Humanity has to take a leap of faith, we need to learn to address the current issues as they arise. Stopping the killings over our belief systems is the first step to understand self, sense of belonging and God himself.
Sense of belonging, sense of freedom and knowing the reason of having a free will is a first order for the individual of the present day living. Knowledge of the self worth and the real connection to the source is a foundational knowledge each and everyone should know. As a humanity we need to preach that God’s body can’t function as a whole, if the cells are at each others throat.
If you believe in one brick mosque or a church you need to get with the changing and rapidly evolving times.
If everyone takes individual responsibilities to be part of the changing world, instead of trying to stop it from evolving, it is almost going against the whole universe, so do you really think you have a chance to create peace? not by forcing each other to your belief systems. The rhythm I talked about is to find the speed of adaptation which suites everyone to evolve. The people whom are slowing down the evolution may have a wisdom for the humanity to adopt the changes with certain speed, instead of bursting out and destroy everything without the understanding.
There is a false wisdom out there, that with war you can create peace. Personally I believe human being is still dealing with the beast inside, so war creates more love loss related and emotionally charged yet cunning creatures, and that would never help us to reach peace.
