If the individual is prejudice and discriminatory, most likely their belonging group is as well because education is the one which makes a human individual deny equal human rights to someone. Like-minded people usually get together to promote their political agenda to gain and sustain powers even with the price of morality. Our sense of belonging is so powerful that it makes most of us compromise our personal values. It can blind even the best of us, that is why our religious conflicts have the potential to last for thousands of years.
Logically our worshiping places are spouse to be for reaching God almighty, yet we end up following political agendas of our religions by following God’s messengers words blindly as God’s words. Reaching for the source is and should be the main purpose of worshiping but we end up learning extreme from our religious places.
Our problems start when Godly knowledge comes out of a human individual as God’s words. Individually as human beings everyone of us is related to a group of people and politically leaning towards bias in favor of belonging groups. We get stuck into our politics of sense of belonging because of our loyalties to our groups and even our ancestors just to keep our differences going.
Unfortunately, that is where our humanity is almost two hundred countries with the potential to split even further. Politics of sense of belonging to groups is behind all that so some people promote whatever they have known from history and yes that is our divisive policies. They have not brought us in a good place, we have gone through world wars and are still on the brink of another one. With all the civilization and evolution in our belt, we should be beyond the animal instinct and more of a spiritual being but is spirituality is being mocked by our leaders. Events from Brexit to Trump, who is still in power, is a clear sign of an upsurge in the past style of a group related to preservative politics.
God naturally takes a back seat and the manifestos of the religions become more than just the rules even if they are just the rituals and traditions. These rituals, customs, and traditions passed on to the coming generations as political systems. The spread of ideologies becomes a source of power and domination related to animal instinct. When animal instincts take over animal behaviors overpower human individuals individually. Now ask yourself within your religion where do spirituality and God stand for you personally? If you can’t find yourself to be able to answer that, it is because you have been influenced by the loyalties to the politics of your sense of belonging. Personally I believe it is politics through and through.
If you are looking for spirituality and God look no further than within the makeup of the human individual and humanity as a whole. Regardless of our genetic makeup and powerful politics of sense of belonging we are different than other creatures. Just look around and see what you see, remember you can’t see if you are not looking for. Now look and see what is happening around the world? Populations are becoming a jambalaya of mixed genetics. black and white are brown.
Since we are forbidden to evolve in our religious department our religions can’t keep up with growing tolerances related to equal human rights. In reality, racism is becoming a black mark and is being ridiculed and gay marriage is getting accepted within our justice systems. We now, not only have human rights we have animal rights as well and it is all because of accepting basic fundamentals of being a human being.
Sure in the present days we are going through some old-style politics of sense of belonging but the awareness of humanity is reminding the individual that our reality is explained and unexplained illusive God almighty, not the messengers because messengers have been although blessed with knowledge but still human beings. As human beings we have loyalties to our belonging groups. Politics o our belonging group is so are deep into our psyche or even genetics that we can’t shake it off, so our decisions are influences. Yes even as prophets human beings are vulnerable to the political pressure.
The real message from God is God related compassion-based spirituality for a mortal individual, not a politics based and divisive religions. Looking at the warring history of religions it is clear that messenger’s usual messages are based on group politics related superiority and dominance over opposing groups and nonbelievers. Regardless of how good and spiritual message is, they just couldn’t keep the politics of prejudice and discrimination out of the religions.
Lets look at it this way first of all, putting God in the foundation of any justice and political system would be challenged by the individual who does not believe in that particular religion or even God. Second in the situation of life and death one has to prove things without a doubt and God is where most of us evolving beings can’t understand everything 100%. Personally, that is where I think religions should be purely spiritual systems not justice or political systems because in today’s world with internet connection in everyone’s hand, beheading or chopping hands for stealing would be impossible to enforce because the whole world can ridicule it.
Whether it’s against the opposing groups or even against the individual who does not follow religious rules, in the nutshell it ends up saying God is for some people and not for others. As human individuals who are we to judge each other while we are still evolving in our understanding, just look around how much humanity has changed in last hundred years. Since we are an evolving entity our judgments would always be with incomplete knowledge so following religions as justice systems to the extreme can be proven wrong anytime. Killing someone just to find out that person was innocent can be a spiritual nightmare so we should avoid killing each other over our religious differences because an evolving knowledge is always on the shaky grounds.
As human individuals or collectively our awareness of God, spirituality, and humanity as a whole is and should be our evolving truth otherwise it is all about racism, nationalism and religious extreme. If our truth is evolving one question comes to mind. Should we kill someone who has a difference of opinion? Especially in the area where none of us hold ultimate knowledge. Interestingly religion or not even political parties preach prejudice and discrimination against each other so the key to change the course we are on is that we need to change one person at a time individually.
If you don’t want to get into complicated philosophies at least seek answers and awareness by just looking for the reasons why a human individual possesses free will? And ask yourself why do we come with a personal sense of justice? Why do we get upset when someone does injustice against ourselves? Why these things come along with us from before birth and why do we feel them from within?
If you claim that what we know we are taught, how would you justify the instinct just look into the animal world they don’t just bring instinct they bring tools to survive. Cats have claws and fangs they kill and eat pray. Deer and rabbits can run faster, ants and bees do their things all programed. Now ask yourself why human beings are above other creatures. It is not only that we are genetically gifted we are a spiritual being as well so why some of us can’t or don’t use our free will? If you want another example just look at the kids raised in the same families, regardless of genetics and upbringing methods why there are differences?
On the surface, it may seem innocent, logical and connected to our nature but politics of our sense of belonging is powerful enough that it can make even an educated and evolved human individual unable to use free will. Remember you don’t learn free will, you bring it along from before birth so it is from God not from a group of people whether they are a nation or religion. If they preach you to kill in the name of your belonging group, as an individual you have a responsibility to look at the politics of sense of belonging critically with the personal sense of justice. Politics of belonging to our groups should be looked at as a serious problem, not as an asset for humanity.
We can say our prophets were wise, had Godly knowledge and knew everything. For a group of people, it can be good enough to follow the free will or not, but the question is, is it good enough for humanity as a whole? Well, let us see my question is, is there anyone out there who can put a number on the innocent lives lost in the history of our religions. I will bet on that no one can because politics of sense of belonging have used and chewed spiritual systems of all religions and spit it out yet as an ordinary individual we all stoke the fire of prejudice and discrimination in the name of God.
From swords, arrows and spears to modern-day weapons of mass destruction to suicide bombing our journey has too many horror stories to tell yet interestingly they all have the same title of prejudice and discrimination so personally I connect these two with all our present social ills and call them as the cancer of humanity which has devastated humanity throughout our history religion or not. They have been are and for a long time to come, will be with us, so as an individual and collectively we should start to look at these two so they can be removed from our societies one person at a time.
We are supposed to be an evolving creature, don’t believe me just look around, other than the religions human beings have been, are and will be evolving in all departments of life. Sure we go back and forth but we still keep making progress in our civilization. Sure people have been and are still leaning towards politics of sense of belonging to their respected groups but there is a big difference in tolerance in modern day societies. Even if it has been holding humanity back from reaching its potential the progress is still showing. Just think if we did not have religion, nationalism, security and hate-related political wars where would humanity be without all the loss we have had I am pretty sure we would be farther ahead. ************************
Interestingly today humanity is being called to work together because of the understanding of our problems. For instance, current or present problems like global warming-related weather extremes, internet-related boundary-less social crimes and infectious diseases like Ebola and Corona viruses. These are humanity’s so-called bigger fish to fry but our politics still keeps us apart because of prejudice and discrimination against each other.
We still fear the injustice done to us from our own kind regardless of us being an evolved spiritual entity. Our fears are not new they have been ingrained from experiences passed on to us from our ancestors. Our ancestors were not as evolved and they did injustice to each other, today we should look forward to work with each other regardless of our differences, just like we do with the space station, climate and tsunami warning information, fighting infections like Ebola and Coronaviruses.
If every race, nation, and religion had preached equal human rights in our distant past, we would not have such an unaccountable death toll from the politics of sense of belonging. Our religious textbooks point towards the day of destruction and judgment. Unfortunately with today’s weapons of mass destruction, the extreme politics of our sense of belonging to our groups and the environment of prejudice and discrimination we are heading towards those predictions to make them a reality. Unless we switch our belonging to humanity as a whole. We can bring this predicted day of judgment on to us by not evolving according to the demands of time. Earth is our home, humanity is us and our politics of sense of belonging should be to humanity as a whole not to the groups like we always have had.
There is nothing wrong with having a belief system or loyalty to ancestry as long as today we leave no room for prejudice and discrimination and lots of room for evolution. If you are scientifically and technologically advanced you have to be advance medically as well. If you are medically aware you have to be aware of the powers of emotions and love as well just like if you are politically aware you have to be aware spiritually as well. Now ask yourself do you consider yourself as an evolved individual if you are, are you able to juggle with everything you face in today’s demanding life to have a successful mortal life.
As mortals we need to wear our spiritual jewelry like compassion, forgiveness, sacrifice, and love proudly to be successful in all departments of our life. We need to have all the above to have personal, collective and social growth. We would never have equal human rights if we did not have our spiritual nature from within. An animal can’t see beyond instant gratification but as human beings, we can see or at least potentially we can see it all.
As physical creatures, just look in our past history we were there not too long ago, we were fighting with other creatures and with each other over the resources. My question is, if we call ourselves evolved and civilized human beings why do we still kill each other over the same things. I guess we are still a work in progress. That is why I call we are an evolving entity from within, our spiritual side needs nurturing from all corners of a love triangle so as an individual we learn not to rob each other of love. There are some of us still believe in the politics of survival, superiority, prejudice, and discrimination. Even we have evolved to the point that we have mixed races, nations, and religions living together in peace yet we still need to evolve because we still kill each other over our politics of sense of belonging.
A simple and universal spiritual rule is that don’t do to others what you don’t like done to you or your loved ones. It alone should be sufficient but we just can’t get around the politics of our sense of belonging. Spirituality is in the foundation of human beings and is universal so being good has nothing to do with where are you from or which nation, race, gender, or religion you belong to. Unfortunately, our group politics still preach prejudice and discrimination so an ordinary individual still gets sucked to extreme because of personal insecurities and loyalties to belonging groups.
I personally believe its imperative for us as an individual to take personal and spiritual approach by believing as a cell belonging to humanity as a whole, as an organism or as a physical body of God.
Human progress has been going up and down or back and forth just because of our group politics pull us back towards the philosophy that we are more of an animal and less of a spirit. Yet by now, we should have been further ahead to be more of a spirit and less of an animal. Our wars are still ongoing, we are stuck in social crimes, our jails are full and on top of all that even fatter than any time of human history.
What does it tell us as a story of human beings? Are we looking for instant gratification in all departments of our lives? If that is the case it is a clear sign of animal side dominance. Unfortunately, the politics of our sense of belonging to our groups is the cause of all that, because if our animal side is dominating we tend to work like animals, we stick together to be stronger to harm others regardless of guilt. Spirituality takes a back seat when political interests are present.
What does a love triangle get to do with the politics of voting? If you want to live in an animal dominating core, your vote would be influenced by the personal preservation in mind to join the people who feel secure by dominating others. You will believe in carrot and stick, along with the dog eat dog philosophy. If you are spiritually inclined your vote would be leaning towards equal human rights, helping humanity, social programs like welfare, universal health care as human rights, etc.
If you look at the love triangle, it’s all about love encasing the deeply rooted core of an animal and spirit. Capacity to love and sacrifice is a spiritual trait so as human being we all are able to possess this spiritual jewelry. Our problem is that sometimes we grow up with love loss which sends us in an internal turmoil and we end up becoming a slave of our animal side. Not only it makes us choose to act like a passionate animal, but it also robs us of our spiritual side related compassion.
If you honestly ask yourself these questions, like what is driving your choice making mechanism? Do you possess compassion or not? If not what made you lose it? Did someone or even God rob you of love at a tender age? Why your animal side is dominating over your spiritual side? If any of the above doesn’t apply to you but you still feel your animal is dominating your spiritual side then you have to ask yourself again why? If you think you are surrounded by the people who think dog eat dog philosophy is the only way to go and there is no other way. Now you have to ask how powerful your sense of belonging is? If your thoughts are formed by the group you belong to, ask yourself and remember I said honestly. Are you trying to fit in, trying to impress or you are drowning with the desire to be admired by your belonging group? If it is true to remember we are all born with the free will so why aren’t you able to use it? If your politics of sense of belonging inhibits you to use your free will it is your personal weakness not the strength of your belonging group?
If you are healthy otherwise, you have to look at your genetic makeup, you are not a warrior ant nor you are a worker bee, you are an able human being with perfectly functioning physical body and capable spirit within. You are an entity that controls and acts as a mortal human being. It’s you who comes to life as a package of good, bad and the ugly humanity has to offer. If you happen to choose a dog eat dog, its all about survival and is based on the physical living meaning you only care for living physically. Sure it is important but as human beings, we have our spiritual side as well. To live a fulfilling mortal life we need to create a balance. For instance, you only care to have nice food to eat, a nice house to live or have a nice car to get around its all for catering to your animal side. Spiritually you could be starving if you don’t help someone in need regardless of the resources you have or even vote against the people who preach to help people in need. Remember God does not need help from you but when you help the people in need you are helping God indirectly because every living human being is a living cell of spiritual God. God is only meaningful when spiritual things take physical form and human being is the one who makes that happen.
Since we are here to reciprocate our life is not fulfilling if we choose to live only physically. Spirituality related peace of mind, happiness and contentment could be missing in a mortal life if one is just living like an animal exclusively. The spiritual side is the one makes us a creature above all creatures.
Compassion, ability to sacrifice and ability to love come from the spiritual side. You can say you love as an animal, I can say that is tainted with hormones related feelings. Real love is related to spirituality because you are able to love people to the point that you sacrifice yourself. For instance you can choose a cause or choose to live for God and serve without the greed of anything in return. You can donate money even for the enemy nations in crisis. What drives people to do that? Why some socialist nations are higher on the happiness scale? Shouldn’t it be the religious nations? They could be if they practice spirituality.
We all need personal freedom but we all are deeply connected to humanity as well so its not about one or the other its all about balance and all the way deep into the core. If you can create balance there you can balance your mortal life. You can love your partner, you can love your kids and family and you can love your community, nation, your religion and even humanity as a whole and all equally. It can happen only if you can learn to become strong enough to be the CEO of your life who can create balance in all departments of life. Who can experience life even if it is mortal and what it has to offer? From chemicals related emotions to spirituality related wisdom all wrapped up in one package for the individual exclusively. One has to experience it all, one or the other does not give you full experience so the wisdom of mortal life is highly individual and you have to live it personally.
If you want the wisdom of happiness, learn to be flexible, learn to fit into shoes of time instead of fitting time into your shoes. Always remember your mortal nature, no one gets around it, even if you feel that you are someone who is special. Sometimes we have to learn, unlearn and then learn. Just like planting harvesting just to plant again. We scientifically can learn that believing in God does not make any sense, but when it comes to realities or mortality going back to believing in God not only makes sense, it becomes an essential need to know spirituality in order to be comfortable in the mortal skin. Its all about our evolving knowledge so keeping ourselves open is essential for evolution. Going too far and becoming a radical for any scientific or religious cause would be ignorance regardless of the type of knowledge.
